Classes

Have fun learning pottery and making new friends.

Thursday Advanced Pottery Classes

Classes take place on Tuesdays or Thursdays from 6-8pm, with a capacity of 4 per class session. This class is great for those who have taken a few classes with us and are looking for the next step, or experienced potters looking for a place to create!

It is REQUIRED that you sign up for at least ONE beginner/intermediate class before joining as an advanced student, regardless of your experience. There will be no traditional instruction and the course is more self-paced (Instructor may or may not be present during class meeting times).

In this class we will focus more on the conceptual side of creating and explore different artists and techniques that can help inform our own art practice.

You will be encouraged to bring a sketchbook page to the first class and be prepared to share your ideas with the group during the first class. There will be an optional potluck/critique during the week off in between class sessions for those who wish to participate.

$300.00

Option to Purchase Additional Clay

25-Lb. Bag of Clay (Additional clay purchased during a 6 week class session)

(For 6-Week Classes or Resident Artists Only, Not available for Drop-Ins) This is if you want more clay to work with in addition to the 25-lb. bag that's already included. The price includes the cost of additional firings and glaze materials. Please note; if you bring in your own clay you will still be charged this additional fee to cover the cost of materials and firing fees.
